The Forbidden City: Beyond Space and Time is a website provides you with access to an immersive 3-dimensional virtual world where you can celebrate and explore aspects of Chinese culture and history. The Virtual Forbidden City features guided tours that will help you to explore and learn about the real Forbidden City in Beijing, as well as about culture during imperial China. You can join a tour by interacting with a tour guide.
You also can explore the architecture and culture of Imperial China, by viewing scenes, participating in activities, and learning more about what you see. Map of the forbidden city displays their location in the Virtual Forbidden City. If you want to visit these locations, you just need to move your mouse and click the icon. Some buildings and artifacts contain additional information. If you see buildings or artifacts that interest you, you can click an item to learn more about them.
